DMA's Charity Philosophy
Daanadharmam Mukhyamaaya Agenda

DMA delivers 100% of every donation directly to those in need — no third parties, no administrative deductions. Each year, one or more volunteers personally travel to India to hand-deliver support to the families DMA has chosen to help, ensuring aid reaches exactly where it is needed.

Ongoing Programs

These are DMA's active community service programs that run throughout the year. Members and volunteers are always welcome to participate.

Soup Kitchen
Year-round
DMA members volunteer at soup kitchens in the local Detroit metro community, handling food preparation, serving hot meals, and cleanup. This is one of DMA's longest-running and most consistent charitable activities.
Approximately 700 people served every year
Habitat for Humanity
Annual
Each year DMA partners with Habitat for Humanity to repair and rebuild homes for senior citizens and families in need across the Michigan area. Members contribute physical volunteer labor to this meaningful initiative.
